Had a wonderful day at the contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria. I took my family on a Thursday in January, the weather was nice and warm. I brought them on this day because every Thursday is free entry to the contemporary Austin Museum,. we walked around on the grounds of the museum, got a very nice view of the lake. All the sculptures around the area were very beautiful, everything was so serene and relaxing. Great experience, you sort of go on a little hike while looking around which was great. Good exercise, family interactive, wheelchair friendly.

One of my favorite places in Austin. A beautiful historic home with trails and sculptures along a body of water. Very serene and peaceful. They have a little cafe with appetizers and both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

Amazing place to go with family. This was our first time here and the wonderful staff made us feel so welcome especially the lady with the curly hair at the front desk she's was so kind. My granddaughter did not want to leave, she made sure she visited every place on the map we were given. I highly recommend taking your family here!

Came here for a memorial and what a beautiful space. It was the perfect setting for a gathering and the amphitheater that over looks the lake was stunning and the perfect backdrop. The crew was wonderful. Awesome vallet options and nice to have a beautiful natural outside space to gather at.

An Austin gem. This historical sculpture garden has fantastic works of art and offers a tranquil lake side escape. The second Saturday of the month has a free kids craft activity area in the main house. Parking can get tricky on weekends so if you find a spot while driving up- snag it. The cafe has a great selection and the walking paths interlaced with exhibits are very well maintained. Awesome work by the Contemporary Austin.

Best 14 acre contemporary art hunt for kids hands down. My three literally ran to all 14 exhibits on the grounds … great way to exhaust their energy. They had fun and we all enjoyed the afternoon together.

My family loved it here. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Beautiful, serene and peaceful place. We saw some unique exhibits. Photographers and painters were around painting the scenic views and taking pictures. Several classes to attend for adults and kids. There was a class for kids in session sculpting clay bowls. We saw the same class later walking with their instructor through the trails learning about different plants, trees, and sculptures. Free for educators. Great for first dates or just to take a stroll enjoying nature. Great for kids
